Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and creative classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, nurturing environment.
• Use strategies to support communication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a care/support role.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies, autism support, and communication techniques (PECS, Makaton desirable).
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) or willingness to train.
