Reed Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school this September. This is a full-time role based in a small, well-resourced Area Resource Base (ARB) unit on the school site, supporting 9 pupils across KS1 and KS2 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

You will work closely with the class teacher and a team of skilled TAs to:

• Create a nurturing and structured environment where pupils feel safe, engaged, and able to thrive
• Support pupils with a range of complex needs, using tailored strategies and interventions
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Contribute to planning and delivering engaging, differentiated activities

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Extensive experience working with children with SEN, particularly SEMH and ASD
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
