Salary: £500 per day

Project Manager: security systems and technology projects across Parliament. They will facilitate the completion of security related projects across the Parliamentary estate through delivering feasibility studies, ownership of business cases, project support and design reviews.

Working with suppliers to enable delivery of security systems and technology work streams, and act as the "informed client".

Develop and produce project briefs, designs and specifications, and manage security systems biased projects through to final delivery and commissioning, being able to use their own expertise without relying on external consultants and occasionally undertake specialist improvement projects.

To produce and deliver technology project plans with due consideration for business impact assessments, requirements and key deliverables.

£500pd gross umbrella rate - inside IR35

Hybrid working model.

The client will sponsor CTC clearance.

Experience with varied technologies including:

  • Security infrastructure and technology support, maintenance and upgrades
  • Data connectivity solutions and broader connectivity requirements
  • Network and connectivity infrastructure requirements, including installation of new technology across multiple locations
  • Cyber security, reviewing functionality and capability.
  • Hardware installations including CCTV, AACS and Security System upgrades
  • Software upgrade reviews and pilot testing
  • Roadmap reviews for technologies to ensure solutions are fit for purpose

Responsibilities:

  • Completing monthly financial forecasts and ensuring they are returned on time;
  • Escalating issues, queries or concerns to the line manager as required;
  • Organising project or programme related meetings as and when required;
  • Updating individual stakeholder action plans;
  • Approving first drafts of documents and reports as and when required;
  • At handover, ensuring that all of the relevant handover documentation is in place;
  • Supporting management of the team wide lessons learned, issues, opportunities and change logs;
