An outstanding opportunity for an ambitious General Manager ready to take the next step with one of London's most exciting independents.

Houston & Hawkes are looking for a talented and driven General Manager to lead operations at our London Bridge site — a dynamic environment spanning a fine dining offer and a retail operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where your personality, standards and energy will set the tone for everything the team delivers.

THE ROLE

As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day operation — leading your team, driving standards and delivering an exceptional guest experience across both the fine dining and retail sides of the business.

• Leading and inspiring a team to deliver consistently exceptional service
• Overseeing all aspects of the fine dining operation — from guest experience to service standards
• Managing the retail offer and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Driving performance, managing costs and hitting financial targets
• Building a strong team culture rooted in excellence and hospitality
• Working closely with the senior leadership team and account directors
• Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service at all times
• Handling client relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction across every touchpoint

• Proven experience in a fine dining environment — essential
• Previous experience in a General Manager or senior management role
• Some exposure to retail operations — desirable but not essential
• A natural leader who motivates and develops those around them
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied, fast-paced operation
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
