Mission and Outcomes for Commercial Insurance Sales Professional
The mission for the commercial insurance sales professional is to grow the gross premium of the agency by successfully selling insurance to businesses.
Close a minimum of $1,000,000 of annual premium and at least 48 accounts per year.
Prospect daily on the telephone and in person.
Take a minimum of 4 applications per month.
Ask anyone and everyone for referrals every day including accountants, attorneys, local proprietors
Market the agency in a positive manner online and in person to attract clients and referrals.
Attend at least two networking events per month to promote the agency.
Maintain a positive, professional LinkedIn profile in relation to the agency.
Send handwritten notes to prospects thanking them for the opportunity.
Send handwritten notes to clients upon closing/binding coverage thanking them for the business.
Manage the relationship with new clients so they would be crazy to leave us.
Send quarterly emails “checking in” with clients in alignment with the agency's contact process.
Implement and manage the 4-touch client management process for larger accounts.
Maintain a high level of confidence and discretion
Do not share any information about the company business with anyone unless directed specifically to do so.
Do not share any personal or private company information with other employees, family or friends.
NEVER discuss a client outside of the office.
Use the secure email feature to communicate via email regarding clients.
Create a sales strategy that the CEO approves during the annual planning cycle.
Measurable, attainable and fiscally feasible.
Be prepared for unplanned activities and interruptions at any time throughout the day.
Daily priorities change. Be flexible.
Make sure your planned work is left in a place where you can jump right back after an interruption.
Experience Commercial Insurance Producer_ minimum of 5 years proven track record
Valid California license for Property and Casualty in good standing before start date
Valid drivers' license in good standing
Personal attributes conducive to this position including organization, integrity, attention to detail, customer service-minded and exception follow through.
Professional demeanor including appearance, articulate and confidence.
Proven, verifiable history of sales success.

Contributing to your future _ Commission only:
50% Commission on the annualized revenue upfront/ closing bonus
15% of the monthly revenue for the Life of the policy
30% of the monthly revenue for the Life of the policy - no closing bonus
