RG Consultancy are currently Supporting an excellent company, based in Knutsford in their search for an accounts administrator.
About the Position
As an Accounts Administrator, you will support the accounting team in delivering monthly and annual financial processes. This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach within a fast-paced finance environment and offers an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career within a stable organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate and organise financial information for accountants on a daily basis
- Perform general administrative duties to include, but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing (include maintaining register), and filing.
- Set up, file and retrieve organisational documents, records and reports.
- Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial statements, including scanning, using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office, or other programs.
- Perform accurate electronic data entry using Microsoft Office
- Process payments to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage high volumes of documentation, including scanning, organising and filing
- Prepare and organise paperwork to support corporation tax analysis
- Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing departmental post
- Liaise with various trading locations via telephone and email
- Assist with a range of additional tasks across the finance department as required
Candidate Profile
- Professional and well-presented, with a willingness to work in an office-based environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (preferred)
- Capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
