Warranty and Service Coordinator

 

Job Summary:
The Warranty and Service Coordinator is a specialized, highly trained & skilled member of our Service Team. The Warranty and Service Coordinator handles several key tasks including but not limited to:

--Receiving all inbound service requests (via phone and email)

--Scheduling and coordinating service appointments for both the internal service team and subcontracted labor groups.

--Confirming appointments and verifying completion with end-users.

--Coordinating warranty work with numerous manufactures represented by WRO.

 

The Warranty and Service Coordinator must possess outstanding communication skills with customers and co-workers alike, have a cheerful and enthusiastic disposition, and be able to speak articulately.

 

In addition, the Warranty and Service Coordinator must display a strong work ethic, project a positive attitude toward the customers and the WRO team, and the ability to manage a high-degree of responsibility.

 

They must be a person of integrity; by displaying an ethical standard in line with the expectations of the WRO organization, this person must always exercise good judgment. They must always operate in a manner that is conducive with WRO’s vision and goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Processing of warranty and service requests.

--Interaction with Sales Team member

--Researching service parts

--Confirming correct parts

--Ordering and tracking of service parts

--Updating of clients of status

--Scheduling with clients.

 

  • Labor approval with manufacturers

 

  • Coordination of Non-Warranty service opportunities

--Research

--Quoting or parts and labor to the customer

--Tracking of Order

--Scheduling

 

  • Punch list coordination

--Work with sales team member

--multi manufacturer interaction

 

Additional activities and requirements

--Order entry (within each category)

--Comfortable with use of Computer and industry related software

--Contract research (quoting piece)

--Job completion paperwork (signoffs for invoicing)

--managing client needs and expectations

--Processing Freight claims (similar to warranty)

--Vendor interaction

--Client interaction

 

 

--Movement of product

--Assist in unloading.

--Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
