Our client based in Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support a programme focused on legacy design investigation. The role involves assessing existing mechanical designs, identifying issues and performing root cause analysis.

Contract Details:

Inside IR35 - £#removed#ph DOE
9 month contract 
Hybrid working - 3 days on site in Buckinghamshire, 2 from home

Key Responsibilities

Root cause analysis on legacy mechanical designs
Investigate mechanical issues
Review and update existing engineering drawings and documentation
Collaborate with wider team to understand design history and operational performance
Prepare technical reports

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in mechanical design & analysis
Experience with legacy design / investigation
Strong background in rotating machinery/components, motors, generators is desirable 
Experienced with NX or CATIA
