Role: Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £31k - £38k (Depending on experience)

Location: Manchester

Key Responsibilities

* Working as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients

* Ensures that designs are delivered on time to our clients and that the design fulfils the client's brief

* Inspects construction work and ensures that all aspects of design are correctly implemented

* Monitors processes and results and ensure that they comply with relevant safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements

* Ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative

Experience & Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2-years' design experience in Geotechnical Engineering with proven technical knowledge of geotechnics and relevant software

* Detailed knowledge of current engineering codes of practice

* Ability to work to deadlines and excellent planning and organisation skills

* Ability to work independently

Skills & Attributes:

* A first degree (minimum 2.1) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or similar

* Master's degree in geotechnical engineering or similar is preferred

* Minimum of 2 years' Geotechnical or Civil Engineering design experience
