I'm partnering exclusively with a valued client to recruit an experienced Production Team Leader to join their fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader with a hands-on approach and a passion for motivating and developing high-performing teams.

You'll bring proven experience in hitting production and quality targets, while ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure the working practices and duties are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation and company policies

Identify any skill gaps and ensure the team are trained to maintain a minimum qualified level of resource to achieve business needs

Lead, motivate and influence team members to achieve daily quality and production targets

Ensure the team are effectively used on the line - rotating where needed and deploying skills where they are needed

Encourage and support the team, raising and resolving issues quickly and effectively using company policies and leadership skills

Partner departmental functions within the business to ensure smooth operating practices

Positively coach team members to fulfil the business objectives

Record and share shift performance with the team and management

Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the production environment contributing to continuous improvement initiatives where possible

Be a positive influence on the team and provide constructive feedback to them and other key roles

Encourage the company values are being adhered to and ensure they are being demonstrated in a leading by example approach

Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Health and Safety knowledge
