Fire Door Carpenter - North London

£250 per day * 12-Week Temp to Perm * Social Housing Contractor

We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a leading Social Housing contractor covering properties across North London. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, ongoing work, and a clear path to a permanent position after 12 weeks.

You will be responsible for carrying out fire door remedials, new installations, and associated carpentry maintenance within occupied domestic properties.

Position: Fire Door Carpenter
Rate: £250.00 per day
Contract: 12-Week Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Location: North London (mobile role)

Key Responsibilities

Fire door installations (FD30 / FD60)

Fire door remedial works

General carpentry maintenance related to fire safety

Working in occupied Social Housing properties

Ensuring all work meets compliance and safety standards

Experience & Requirements

Proven experience installing and remediating fire doors

Experience working in Social Housing or occupied domestic properties

Must have own van and tools

NVQ Level 2 Carpentry or equivalent preferred (not essential)

Strong understanding of fire door regulations and compliance
