My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Procurement & Commissioning Service Lead for ASC on a Contract basis.

The role will ensure effective compliant arrangements for the commissioning/tendering and contracts management of Adult Social Care (ASC) services for the hosted Borough wide arrangement for BCES.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid - flexible):

• To oversee the development and delivery of the Procurement Strategy, and Social Value Policy for the Council
• Develop, collate, and analyse procurement information across the organisation, presenting this in a concise, accessible and engaging way to a variety of audiences and using this to drive transformation and continuous service improvement for the council
• Ensure effective working between the Council and the provider market to productively manage day to day commissioning activity within the ASC commissioning budget.
• To secure individual packages of care across all client groups for both domiciliary and residential services, meeting the needs of individuals as identified in a Community Care Assessments.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• CIPS qualification.
• Extensive Local Authority experience in procurement and commissioning
• A deep understanding of ASC and relevant provider services.
• Excellent leadership skills.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £500 per day, inside IR35
