Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00)
Work Pattern: Fully onsite

About the Role:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety & Continuous Improvement Manager to join their operations team in a newly created role. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this position will play a critical role in embedding a safe, compliant, and continuously improving culture across the business.

With a workforce of over 110 employees, including a significant shop‑floor presence, this role will focus heavily on Health & Safety compliance while driving meaningful Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Champion a proactive Health & Safety culture across the site.

* Lead risk assessments, audits and ongoing compliance with legislation and internal standards.

* Review incidents, ensure corrective actions are completed, and implement long‑term preventative improvements.

* Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

* Plan and facilitate Lean events, process mapping and standardised work.

* Train and coach teams on Lean tools and safe working practices.

* Create and manage systems for recording improvement ideas and supporting business cases.

* Carry out regular shop‑floor reviews to ensure standards, processes and housekeeping are maintained.

About You:

* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is essential.

* Proven experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives.

* Lean Manufacturing experience is essential; Six Sigma qualification is highly desirable.

* Demonstrable success in implementing change in an operational environment.

* Strong communicator able to engage positively with shop‑floor teams and senior leaders.

* Organised, analytical, and committed to operational excellence.

* Manufacturing experience preferred but not essential if core requirements are met.
