Project Engineer - Westhoughton

Do you have experience working within a highly regulated production environment? Are you looking for a long-term role with clear paths for progression? Then this printing and inks company looking to add a Project Engineer to the team is looking for you!

Your duties as a Project Engineer include but are not limited to the following:

• To carry out engineering development of existing machines and systems Project engineering.
• To provide engineering advice across the site and supporting Maintenance Engineers when required.
• Procure project equipment as defined in the project budget and to maintain cost control reports to provide visibility of project expenditure.
• Maintain a clear change management process so that all items outside the scope of the contract are highlighted and signed off by the project stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert and advise other project managers in the planning and execution of their projects.

Requirements:

• HND in Engineering (degree level) or equivalent; time served
• To have the ability to write the specification, design the equipment and prepare drawings using Auto-CAD.
• The experience to train Maintenance Engineers and provide subject matter expertise for particularly complex technical challenges.
• To have the "hands on" skills to be able to carry out assembly, installation and commissioning.
