Salary: £95 - £140 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only

About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as providing classroom cover when required. This is a varied, rewarding role that offers excellent preparation for those considering a teaching career in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 in the teacher's absence
Supporting individual pupils and small groups to help them achieve their full potential
Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a productive classroom environment
Assisting with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and day-to-day duties
Working collaboratively with staff and parents, providing progress updates when needed
Following school safeguarding, behaviour, and teaching policies at all timesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A recognised Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a primary school setting
Strong classroom management skills and confidence in delivering lessons
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learningAbout the School
