Full‑Time Lower KS2 Teaching Assistant - Coventry (Radford Area)

APT Education, the challenger brand in primary recruitment, is seeking an experienced Lower KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Coventry, near Radford. This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, supporting pupils in Years 3 and 4.

🏫 The Role

* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

* Lead and assist with small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects

* Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging Lower KS2 learning experiences

* Contribute to the wider school community with professionalism and care

✅ Candidate Requirements

* UK school or nursery experience in Lower KS2 (essential)

* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths

* Proven track record of supporting pupils individually and in groups

* Experience supporting pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs)

* A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
