Our client is a well-established and respected civil engineering and construction company operating across the UK and Ireland. With a strong presence in the East Midlands, they deliver high-quality projects spanning commercial, residential, civils, and water infrastructure sectors. Continued growth has created a new opportunity for a Site Engineer to join their successful and supportive team.

Role Overview:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering site-based engineering functions, ensuring works are carried out safely, accurately, and to programme. This role involves working on earthworks, drainage, foundations, and substructures, primarily across Nottinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Oversee works relating to earthworks, drainage, foundations, and substructures.

*

Manage subcontractors and coordinate on-site operations.

*

Quantify and order materials accurately and efficiently.

*

Ensure works are completed to the programme and to high-quality standards.

*

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.

*

Promote and enforce Health & Safety and environmental compliance on-site.

*

Contribute to continual improvement through knowledge sharing and best practices.

*

Support the maintenance of IMS, company policies, and procedures.

About You:

*

Self-motivated and accountable, with a proactive approach to site management.

*

Confident working to deadlines and motivating team members to meet key targets.

Experience & Requirements:

*

Degree in Construction Engineering & Management or related field.

*

5+ years of site engineering experience.

*

Strong understanding of adoptable drainage and roads.

*

Residential and/or commercial project experience (preferred).

*

Proficient in AutoCAD and Total Station.

*

Good IT skills including MS Word, Excel, and project planning tools.

*

Full UK driving licence.
