Teaching Assistant - SEND Support
Location: Hillingdon, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £95 per day
Hours: 8:15 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

A friendly and well-established primary school in Hillingdon is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide targeted support for students with special educational needs (SEND). This full-time role will begin in June 2025, with the possibility of continuing into the following academic year, subject to a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support for students with SEND (specific year group to be confirmed)

Assist in small groups within the classroom to enhance learning experiences

Work closely with classroom teachers to implement tailored support plans

Support pupils with SEND, EAL, and behavioural needs

Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEND and EAL

Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, adaptable approach

A proactive and supportive attitude to learning assistance

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
