In-House Head of Serious Injury

Location: Durham

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum

An In-House Head of Serious Injury is required to lead companies Serious Injury division. This is a senior role with responsibility for strategy, operational delivery, compliance and commercial performance.

The role has ownership of the Serious Injury function, focusing on service quality, regulatory adherence and sustainable growth. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in shaping how serious injury services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Serious Injury strategy in line with company objectives
• Lead operational delivery of medico legal reporting for serious injury cases
• Ensure compliance with CPR, GDPR, MedCo and industry standards
• Manage client relationships, governance and escalations
• Lead and develop operational teams against KPIs
• Drive commercial performance and continuous improvement

About You:

You will have senior operational experience within a legal/inhouse legal environment, with strong knowledge of serious injury reporting and regulatory requirements. You will be commercially minded, confident managing teams and comfortable owning performance and outcomes.
