What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, ensuring delivery of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and compliance work
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear and practical financial advice
• Review statutory accounts and tax computations prepared by junior staff
• Oversee management accounts and client reporting, adding value through insight and analysis
• Support clients with tax planning, VAT, audits, and general business advice
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation and advise clients accordingly

What We’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong experience within an accountancy practice
• Proven experience managing client relationships
• Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax legislation
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive and commercially aware mindset
• Experience with TaxCalc and Xero (desirable)
• Audit experience or RI status, or working towards it (desirable)
• Experience working with SMEs (desirable)
