Up to £45,000 p/a 37.5 hrs Days Excellent Staff Benefits Good CQC A charitably run elderly care service in the Walton on Thames area is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN Nurse Manager to lead the Nursing Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading retirement communities, where you will care for older people with general elderly nursing and disability care needs, delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life in state-of-the-art facilities. Details of this Nurse Team Manager RGN position and the employment package you will receive:

• Full-time hours of 37.5 per week on a permanent contract

• Day shifts only, with some flexibility required on occasion

• An excellent annual salary of up to £45,000

• A supportive, friendly and progressive working environment with modern facilities As RGN Nurse Team Manager, you will provide effective clinical leadership and line management to a team of Nurses, Therapists and Carers, working to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents and staff. You will coordinate Nurses who participate in the Link Nursing Framework, with each Nurse specialising in one area of clinical expertise. The role will also involve mentoring and supporting Student Nurses and Carers in their development, in addition to some hands-on clinical duties. What our client is looking for in a Nurse Team Manager RGN:

• Up to date NMC registration as an Adult Nurse/RGN

• Substantial post-registration experience, with a minimum of 2 years working at Band 6 or equivalent

• Have completed a recognised mentorship qualification with experience mentoring and supporting junior staff

• Demonstrate proven experience in end of life and palliative care and in elderly care, having completed post-registration studies in one of these areas

• Strong leadership skills and able to motivate, manage and develop both clinical and non-clinical staff
