As a Welder, your responsibilities may include:
• Carrying out TIG, MIG or MMA welding to a consistent, high standard
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Fabricating and assembling components across mild steel, stainless and other materials
• Using jigs, fixtures or templates to ensure accuracy
• Preparing materials and components prior to welding
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organised workspace
 
As a Welder, your experience may include:
• Proven experience as a Welder within fabrication or engineering environments
• Confident ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Using common workshop tools such as grinders, drills, bandsaws or press brakes
• Working to precise tolerances and checking the quality of your own welds
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
• A reliable, proactive work ethic with the ability to work independently
