Are you an experienced Teacher of Humanities (KS2, KS3, or KS4), with knowledge or interest working alongside pupils with SEND behavioural and autistic needs?

Pertemps are looking to support an extremely under-the-radar Independant School SEND provision based just north of Stowmarket. 
This school is Oustanding, with access to over 15 acres of countryside land, built upon a converted estate house. The provision engages typically with a focus upon Therapuetic Intervention for pupils aged 11 to 18 with a range of social emotional mental health and autistic learning difficulties. 

This school only works with a limited number of pupils, just under 30, so much of the curriculum is individualised and personal, setting the standard for what bespoke education can be. 

The school utilises a range of hollistic & vocational learning programmes for their pupils. It is a beautiful site of learning with much development to the school outdoor learning facilities across the coming year. 

We are looking for a Teacher of Humanities who is looking to work full time Monday to Friday 8:30 to 16:00, whilst being supported by a number of classrooms specialist assistants and medical professionals. 

Pertemps Ideal Candidate:

- QTS or Higher Level Education (Masters, PGCE, QTLS) 
- Early Career Teachers welcome 
- Available ASAP  or September 2024
- Confident at dealing with a range of challenging behaviour 
- Must have access to personal vehicle
- DBS on Update Service ideal but not essential
