Job Description

Main responsibilities of Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN role:

  • Assess patient's health and well being across a complex and changing caseload
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
  • Promote best practices as a Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN in health and safety and security
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services

  • Work autonomously with minimum supervision
  • Applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes

Skills & Behaviours of qualifying Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN:

  • Staff Nurse - RGN will be successful at working in teams
  • Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
  • Posses training requirements for Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN role
    • Including infection control and health and safety competencies
  • Demonstrate principles of accountable practice as a Staff Nurse - RN
  • English language to IELTS 7.0

  • Effective interpersonal communication and Influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen as well as the ability to plan and maintain organisation
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and regulation

We are recruiting for a NMC Registered Nurse to use their skills to benefit older people and work in our client's exceptional Care Home; offering comfort, compassion and friendship with an assurance that the residents are treated with respect and dignity that they deserve. As part of our clients well managed team you will be taking responsibility for the well-being of the residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met; leading, motivating and mentoring the team and delivering clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home; carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents. Our client-s commitment to provide the best respite and palliative care, with a focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times, and demonstrated by the low patient to staff ratio (3 to 1); the hours are full time - 36-42 hours per week with flexibility on shift patterns
