Gortmore are looking for an Engineering Surveyor for an Earthworks project in the Edinburgh area.

The Candidate must have:

* Previous experience of working on projects as a Land Surveyor.

* Must be proficient with survey software (LSS, Trible business centre) and able to produce accurate volume calculations.

* Must be able to carry out As builts and produce findings on Auto Cad.

* Must have excellent Knowledge and be extremely accurate in using GPS Robotic EDM's and Plumb lasers.

* Must have previous experience working with machine control i.e. Trimble, Leica, Top Con.

* Manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.

* Must be competent in reading drawings.

* Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.

* Maintain daily site diary.

* Have problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
