An established and fast-paced organisation based in Watford is seeking an experienced interim Management Accountant to support its month-end reporting cycle during a period of transition.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience with Sage Intacct and a confident grasp of month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.

Ideal for a technically strong contractor who can hit the ground running in a collaborative and fast-moving finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage key aspects of the month-end close process

* Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments

* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis

* Ensure reporting accuracy within Sage Intacct

* Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries

* Assist with audit prep and internal controls

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in a similar Management Accountant or month-end role

* Strong working knowledge of Sage Intacct (essential)

* Immediate availability and commitment to a 6-month contract

* Able to work independently and solve problems confidently

* Solid Excel and analytical skills
