Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering services provider, delivering generator and power solutions across the UK. You'll create detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD, supporting projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Produce electrical schematics and layout drawings using AutoCAD

Work with sales teams and clients to develop and refine designs

Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support procurement

Ensure compliance with UK standards and project specs

Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and quality targets

Maintain CAD libraries and design documentation

What You'll Need

Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of HV/LV systems (desirable)
