Our client is looking for a full-time Quantity Surveyor to join their successful Commercial Team at their head office in Stockton. A competitive, market driven package will be offered to right candidate.

Assist with takeoff and pricing of tender packages as needed
Ensure timely completion of monthly applications with accuracy
Verify client payments against applications and report debtors' position to the Commercial Director
Manage subcontract packages including labour and plant gangs on site
Provide monthly financial reports to commercial leads
Price, negotiate, and agree on contractual variations with clients
Manage multiple schemes simultaneously
Attend site meetings and collaborate closely with project team
Provide development and support to other Commercial team membersPosition Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant Cost/Commercial discipline
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in IT, especially Excel and Bluebeam
Sound commercial acumen to manage high workload under tight deadlines
Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and be accountable
Strong negotiation skills
Experience in tender pricing and contract variations
