Overview:

A secondary school near Andover is seeking a Music Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department.

For the right candidate, there is a strong potential for leadership development, including progression to Head of Department. The school is looking to appoint permanently, offering long-term career growth for a dedicated and ambitious educator.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
Foster creativity, musicality, and a love of learning through practical and theory-based teaching
Support student progress through differentiated learning and constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the department's curriculum and extracurricular offering
Contribute to school life, including performances, music clubs, and events
Demonstrate leadership potential and a willingness to contribute to departmental development

Requirements:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
