Role Purpose:
Lead and manage an Inclusion Service, working with schools, trusts, early years settings, families, and partners to deliver an Inclusion Strategy that reduces exclusions and ensures a consistent, multi-agency approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Behaviour Support and Routes to Inclusion teams.
- Develop and implement the Inclusion Strategy and service.
- Collaborate with schools, local teams, and external providers.
- Align services with SEND, mental health, family support, and youth justice.
- Promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in all decisions and services.
- Lead service transformation, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring.
- Manage budgets, resources, and programme delivery.
Leadership Expectations:
- Build high-performing teams and empower staff.
- Drive change, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration across teams and sectors.
Requirements:
- Proven service leadership in complex organisations.
- Experience delivering outcomes, managing change, and leading teams.
- Knowledge of inclusive education, vulnerable young people, funding, and data analysis.
- Experience in education, ideally in urban or disadvantaged areas.
- Formal qualifications in education or leadership desirable.
