Apply now if the brief and requirements match to be part of a team that values your expertise and ambitions. As a key member of the Finance team, you will report to the UK Financial Controller and play a crucial role in financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Leading the monthly management accounts submission to Europe/ Corporate within strict deadlines.
- Managing the forecast/budget process for the UK entities.
- Overseeing overhead reporting, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, month-end accruals, and prepayments.
- Maintaining the manual Fixed Asset Register, performing depreciation calculations, and supporting CAPEX proposals.
- Completing Balance Sheet Reconciliations, addressing reconciling items, and identifying risks/opportunities with sufficient evidence for audit purposes.
- Providing finance business partnering to functional areas and the management team, offering proactive insights for better decision-making.
- Producing weekly/monthly operational performance reports, conducting variance analysis, and providing commentaries.
- Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley risk control matrices.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified CIMA/ACCA professional with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Key Skills and attributes include.
- Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving abilities, with a comprehensive. understanding of internal control policies and statutory legislation.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/Manufacturing systems.
- Self-motivation and a drive for continuous improvement.
