They are now seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who is ready to take the next step in their career.
As Room Leader, you'll play a vital part in shaping the experiences of the children in your care. You’ll lead a team of practitioners, helping to create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
- Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
- A deep and confident understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills
- A nurturing, proactive approach with a genuine passion for early years education
- Ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your room team to deliver outstanding early years care and education
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS guidelines
- Maintain a child-centred environment that promotes learning through play
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Oversee daily routines, observations, and assessments to ensure every child’s individual needs are met
- Support and mentor staff, promoting best practice and continuous development
- Work collaboratively with the wider leadership team to maintain high standards across the nursery
