Are you an experienced fire safety professional looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client, a well-established leader in fire door and passive fire protection compliance, is expanding their national surveying team. With projects continuing to grow well into 2025, they're looking for a detail-oriented surveyor to help uphold their reputation for technical precision and reliable service.

The Role in Focus
As a Fire Door and PFP Surveyor, you'll be on the ground conducting thorough inspections across a wide variety of property types — from high-rise residential and healthcare buildings to commercial and industrial sites. This is not just about ticking boxes — you'll be producing vital technical reports that contribute directly to life safety compliance.

You'll work with the latest digital surveying tools (such as Bolster) to record findings efficiently and communicate your results clearly to project teams, clients, and non-technical stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities Include:

*

Surveying existing fire doors and passive fire protection systems

*

Logging all inspection data using a central software platform

*

Writing detailed, actionable reports with proposed remedials

*

Liaising with site contacts to ensure surveys run smoothly

*

Supporting ongoing compliance strategies for clients

What You'll Bring
You're someone who's already familiar with fire safety surveying and understands the importance of precision and accountability. You're comfortable managing your own time, working on the move, and representing a professional brand on-site.

Essential:

*

Demonstrable experience in fire door and/or PFP inspections

*

Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance expectations

*

Confident communication and report-writing skills

*

Willingness to travel across the UK

*

Comfortable working independently

Desirable:

*

Qualifications such as FDIS, ASFP, IFC, or similar

*

Experience using Bolster or other digital survey tools

What's on Offer

*

Competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE)

*

Performance-based bonus scheme

*

Company vehicle and fuel card or car allowance

*

Paid travel beyond 30 minutes from home

*

Full training support including FDIS/ASFP accreditation

*

Dedicated back-office and admin support

If you're seeking a role with purpose, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in fire safety, this could be the ideal next move.
