My client has a vacant role for an Executive Chef for their high profile establishment in Grahamstown.
Must have proven experience as a Executive Chef.
This role is made up of many varying responsibilities including: Controlling and directing the food preparation process. Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer Ensuring promptness, freshness and quality of dishes.
Duties include and not limited to:
Coordinating of Cooks
Maintain hygiene policies and cleanliness of equipment
Food costings
Menu Planning
Plate Presentation
Coordinate functions
Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational and financial objectives
Training of Kitchen staff, such as cooks, dishwashers etc
Performing admin tasks, takings stock of food, equipment supplies, purchase orders etc.
