Newstaff Employment Services are looking for an experienced Yard Operative for their client based in Finchley

• Must have 3-5 years Builders Merchant experience & Forklift licence
• Forklift Duties
• Check goods loaded on vehicle for delivery against delivery notes
• Picking & loading of goods
• Goods-out vehicles are safely and securely loaded (no over or uneven loading)
• Count stock
• Keep the yard in a tidy order
• Serve customers collecting materials

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 5:30pm with alternate Saturdays 7am to 2pm

Experience:

• forklift counter balance: 3 years preferred
• warehouse: 3 years required
• Experience working in a Builders Merchants 

Job Duties:

• Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
• Move and stack materials
• Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
• Receive/process shipments
• Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
