Your new role

• Choose your preferred schedule-flexible part-time or full-time availability
• Teach using pre-prepared lesson plans
• Ensure marking aligns with the school's expectations and guidelines
• Submit a brief handover at the end of each teaching day
• Bring strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and preparatory learning
• Help drive pupil progress and engagement through supportive and consistent teaching

What you'll need to succeed

• Availability to work, whether part-time or full-time
• Solid experience and confidence in teaching Key Stage 2, especially Year 5
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to build strong rapport with support staff and fellow staff
• A nurturing approach that supports diverse learning needs
• Positivity and professionalism when engaging with children, families, and school teams
