Your new companyYou'll be joining a well-established, international organisation operating across multiple regions, with a project-led delivery model and a global client base. The business is growth-focused, commercially driven and places strong value on accurate financial insight to support senior leadership decision-making.The environment is collaborative, fast-moving and suited to finance professionals who enjoy ownership, autonomy and close engagement with non-finance stakeholders.

Your new roleYou will take ownership of financial reporting and commercial analysis across several entities. You'll be responsible for end-to-end management accounting, revenue recognition, and providing clear financial insight to senior leadership teams.This role includes line management responsibility for a junior finance team member, with scope to further strengthen the team as the business evolves. You'll work closely with operational and client-facing stakeholders to challenge assumptions, improve processes and enhance financial control.Key responsibilities include:

  • Full P&L ownership across multiple international entities
  • Production and review of monthly management accounts, balance sheets and cashflow forecasts
  • Revenue recognition involving phased and milestone-based delivery
  • Variance analysis, insight generation and process improvement recommendations
  • Cashflow forecasting and working capital oversight
  • Payroll preparation and review, supported by external providers where required
  • Oversight of accounts payable, payment approvals and month-end journals
  • Presenting financial performance and analysis to senior leadership
  • Line management, mentoring and development of junior finance staff

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong management accounting background with full P&L ownership
  • Proven revenue recognition experience in a project-based or services environment
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing non-finance teams
  • Experience working across multiple entities or regions
  • Hands-on, detail-focused approach with the ability to balance delivery and improvement
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively
