Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Westbury

Hours Of Work: 37.5 hours a week, over a 3-rotating shift 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am.

Salary: £27,397.53 plus overtime& attendance bonus.

Benefits: Potential to grow and develop within the team, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, Contributory pension scheme.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator role with an established, busy manufacturing business based in Westbury, that offers genuine opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

Operating machinery involved in the manufacture of paper products.
There are a variety of machines within the department, the successful applicant will be trained on and expected to operate all of them on a rotational basis.
Responsible for ordering of and maintain materials.  
Product inspection, ensuring conformance to specifications.
Advise on potential maintenance issues.
Skills and Experience:

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience operating machinery in a fast-paced production setting, or of carrying out other work in a similar environment. The successful applicant will be given full training for this role.
Able to work in a time critical environment, whilst giving great attention detail and quality.
The ability to manage you own workflow, ensuring production demands are met.
To work responsibly, within Health & Safety guidelines.
Focused on business success, happy to carry out other responsibilities as requested.
A minimum of grade C or equivalent in Maths would be preferrable.
