We are seeking an IT Technician to join our team, providing essential technical support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of all school IT equipment, network, and systems. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and education, and who is ready for a new challenge starting in June or earlier.
Day to Day of the Role: - Provide technical support to staff, ensuring the smooth running of all IT equipment, network, and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advances to support the school’s IT infrastructure.
- Offer technical support for our teams across Kent & Medway.
- Work in an advisory capacity alongside the School Business Manager and Heads of School to manage system changes, platform updates, and equipment renewals without disrupting school operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - 18 months or more experience as an IT Technician.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using school systems and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and providing IT solutions.
