Our client is a respected, niche civil engineering firm renowned for delivering complex infrastructure and groundworks projects on an international basis. They work closely with their clients to build the best possible solutions for them within the manufacturing/engineering process space.
Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their business, and lead by example with a profile of niche projects. You will be a natural team player and strong on customer delivery, relationships and time management.
Responsibilities as a Contracts Manager will include: -
- Oversee the delivery of multiple projects from tender to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Ensure safety on sites/projects, managing technical compliance, health and safety, and environmental standards across all sites.
- Work closely with all subcontractors and clients, as well as designers, consultants and employees.
- Assist with tender preparation and contract negotiations with clients.
- Manage commercial issues should they arise and assist with budgetary forecasting, supporting business development activities.
- Travel will be involved to customer sites.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within civil/process/electrical engineering.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with internal and external parties.
- An individual who has a proactive, solution-focused mindset, and can develop gravitas easily.
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, and timely completion.
