MS664 - PCV MechanicLocation: NottinghamSalary: £21.39 per hourOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking PCV Mechanic on behalf of one of clients. Applications from HGV Mechanics will also be given due consideration.Hours of Work:37 hours a week (with 30 minutes unpaid meal break). Sunday to Saturday, 5 from 7; varying hours on a rotating shift pattern (Earlies – 05:30 to 13:30, Lates (13:00 to 21:00).Duties & Responsibilities:

• To maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• To carry out any repairs as necessary to ensure safe and roadworthy vehicles to a high standard of reliability and quality.
• Carry out any reasonable maintenance activities.
• Adhere to health & safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Have a strong work ethic and understand the need to be reliable and flexible.
• Full UK driving licence.
• PCV driving licence is desired however training may be considered for the right candidate.
• Experience of Cummins & Scania drivetrain & electrical systems.
• Experience of modern electrical systems & OEM diagnostic systems.
• At least 3 years post qualifying experience ideally in a main dealer or PSV workshop.
• Holder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ level 3).
