Your new role
As an Accountant, you will play a central role in the month‑end close process. You will prepare journals, complete a range of accounting activities across intercompany, fixed assets, cash management and balance sheet reconciliations, and review transaction processing completed by offshore colleagues. You will also support the integrity of the P&L and balance sheet, challenge manual or inefficient processes and ensure documentation reflects accurate and up‑to‑date ways of working.

What you'll need to succeed
* Experience working within an accounting function, ideally within a large and complex business* Strong Excel skills with experience preparing reports, journal calculations and reconciliations
* High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and excellent organisational ability
* Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders across finance, audit and operational teams
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently under strict month‑end deadlines
* Experience reviewing colleagues' work and/or working with offshore teams is preferred
* Studying towards a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA) with no more than four exams remaining
