Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: Surrey / Merton / South London (Mobile Role)

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (DOE + Overtime + Call Out)

Job Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join a mobile team working across Surrey, Merton, and surrounding South London areas. This role is focused on electrical maintenance and repair rather than installation, covering a variety of commercial and contract sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations. The position involves a high level of diagnostic work and requires engineers who are confident working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
Work on a variety of systems including rooftop equipment
Ensure compliance with electrical and health & safety regulations
Work independently across multiple mobile sites
Participate in a standby/call-out rotaRequirements:

NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrotechnical / Electrical Installation
JIB / ECS Gold Card (AM2 or AM2E)
2391 Test & Inspection qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Based within a reasonable distance of Surrey / Merton / South LondonWorking Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Core hours between 06:00 - 18:00 (typically 08:00 start)
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Travel time: first/last 30 minutes unpaid, additional paidBenefits:

Standby rota with £200 weekly retainer + x1.5 door-to-door
