Location: DoncasterSalary: from £55,000 to £65,000

We’re looking for a hands-on Site Manager to lead daily operations at our composting facility. You’ll ensure the site runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental and health & safety standards.

What you’ll do

• Oversee compost production and site operations
• Monitor temperatures, moisture, aeration, and material quality
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring safe working practices
• Manage odour control, pest control, and site inspections
• Maintain accurate production, compliance, and performance records
• Ensure all compost meets PAS100 quality standards

What we’re looking for

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisation and record-keeping
• Understanding of PAS100 and Council tenders (advantageous)
• IOSH/NEBOSH + WAMITAB/COTC qualifications
• Flexible, safety-focused, and comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
