Workshop Operative – Avonmouth

About the Role

As a Workshop Operative, you’ll play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the depot. Your main responsibility will be to prepare equipment so it’s clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and preparing equipment
  • Checking and storing off-hired equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop, and storage areas
  • Liaising with customers during loading and unloading
  • Building orders for customers within agreed deadlines
  • Occasionally making deliveries and collections from customer sites
  • Operating the depot Telehandler
