Business Accountant
Location: Deeside
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Deeside, who are looking for a Business Accountant to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys business analysis and has a passion for turning data into meaningful insights. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Senior Management to provide critical financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making and driving overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, delivering clear, actionable insights into business performance.
Conduct in-depth business analysis including production, cost, and variance reporting.
Partner with operational teams to identify efficiencies, cost savings, and profitability improvements.
Analyse departmental spend, buying variances, labour costs, and operational performance.
Develop robust financial models and dashboards using advanced Excel and database tools.
Support month-end reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analytical projects.
Present financial information in a clear and concise manner for non-finance stakeholders.Candidate Requirements:
Part-qualified or qualified Accountant (AAT / CIMA / ACCA) with experience in business or management accounting, ideally within manufacturing or SME environments.
A strong commercial mindset with proven ability to deliver meaningful business analysis.
Advanced Excel and database analytics skills - comfortable managing and interpreting large datasets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - confident in presenting data and influencing decisions.
Ambition to progress within a forward-thinking business and take on greater responsibilities over time
