My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Staff Nurse to join their team as Peripatetic Staff Nurse to cover 5 of their services in the Glasgow area.

What the home is offering and details of this RGN/RMN/RNLD Peripatetic Nurse post:

5 or 44 hours per week on night shift
Excellent hourly rate of £25.00 per hour, equivalent to £50,000 to £57,200 per annum
A comprehensive induction and ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities and staff recognition and reward programmes
As RGN/RMN/RNLD Peripatetic Nurse, you will work as Staff Nurse covering a range of shifts across a variety of locations, sometimes at short notice, and will undertake all aspects of resident care planning and medication management.

This is an ideal role for a Registered Nurse accustomed to working temporary agency shifts, as this role offers more variety and flexibility, in addition to the enhanced rates of pay which are offered due to the flexibility required.

What the home is looking for in a Peripatetic Nurse:

NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD
Ideally experienced in an elderly and dementia care environment
Confident managing and implementing person centred care plans and safely managing medications
Very flexible to work a variety of shift patterns and to cover shifts due to sickness/annual leave, sometimes at short notice
