Responsibilities: To provide psychiatric rehabilitation with a recovery-oriented rehabilitation program model for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker works in conjunction with other PRS staff to help facilitate client progress toward recovery-based rehabilitation goals. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker duties include provision of psycho-educational and skill building activities, both on site and in the community, that addresses client life domains, which include but need not be limited to:
o physical and psychological wellness;
o activities of daily living;
o instrumental activities of daily living;
o interpersonal skills and relationship-building;
o prevocational readiness and community connectedness; and
o cultural and spiritual development
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and 2 years work experience in mental health direct services, 1 year which must be work experience in PRS. CPRP certification is preferred or must be attained within 2 years of hire.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm No on-call.
