An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a progressive business near Thetford.
You will be working closely with the Finance Manager, supporting with the month-end processes. Ideal for an individual seeking their next steps in their career.

The role:

Support month‑end processes, including journal preparation, accruals, and prepayments
Manage the sales ledger, including invoicing and credit insurance checks
Update the weekly cash-flow forecast
Complete inter‑company recharges promptly
Carry out credit control and manage pro‑forma customers
Post all cash movements
Assist with costings when required
Set up new suppliers
Process purchase invoices 
Run weekly creditor payment runs
Complete supplier reconciliations
Prepare monthly departmental spend reports
The person:

Experience in assisting with month-end activities.
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
AAT or studying towards a qualification
An effective team player.
