About the Role:
You will teach Chemistry across KS3-KS5, delivering an advanced, practical-rich curriculum aligned with scientific best practice. You'll also support/pioneer STEM enrichment projects like Chem Clubs, Research Mentoring, and Oxbridge preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver captivating lessons with an emphasis on high-order thinking and practical skills

Guide Sixth Form Chemistry students through exam precision, experimental design, and university readiness

Coordinate GCSE and A-Level coursework, maintaining high standards and compliance

Lead extra-curricular science activities, mentoring high-flyers and supporting cross-year learning

Collaborate with the Head of Science to implement vision and share assessment practices

Candidate Profile:

Degree in Chemistry with QTS and strong A-Level teaching experience

Insight into post-16 pedagogy, independent learning, and UCAS support

*

Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and academic integrity

Keen interest in STEM outreach, research, and extension beyond the classroom
